About the Department

In the current scenario, capable computer professionals are wanted in huge numbers by multinational companies. All the developed countries are looking for young and dynamic hardware. software professionals form india. Apart from the various defence research organizations, entertainment industry, telecommunication and wireless communication industry, mobile networks, computer hardware industries and banking field all look for computer science professionals, Now - a - days Computers are the major sources for providing databases to almost all the non- science streams. In other words you can go global with computers.

Computing degrees place emphasis on practical knowledge, and understanding of business and management skills, while adopting an academic and rigorous approach which will support you throughout your career. They are designed to meet the full requirements of the current scenarios of computing industry. This degree focus on the methods and techniques through which software can be developed for rigorous engineering practices and meeting required levels of quality. In addition, you learn how to plan and manage architectures for exciting large scale development projects, coupled with business and financial computing.

Many students of our department were placed in companies like WIPRO and INFOSYS.
Out of 86 students the department produced 58 First- class and 14 distinctions.
