Computing degrees place emphasis on practical knowledge, and understanding of business and management skills, while adopting an academic and rigorous approach which will support you throughout your career. They are designed to meet the full requirements of the current scenarios of computing industry. This degree focus on the methods and techniques through which software can be developed for rigorous engineering practices and meeting required levels of quality. Produced two University Rank holders in the year 2007 and 2008.
Produced 100% results in the various subjects of Bharathiar University Examinations.
More than 70% of students have passed with first class.
More than 15 students of current final year batch have been placed in various companies including Wipro Technologies.
Two of our faculties are currently doing Ph.D and 9 of our faculties have completed M.Phil and 5 faculties are pursuing M.Phil.
One of our faculties has published a paper in international journal.
All the faculties have participated in national, international conferences and seminars and also presented more than 10 papers .
Mr. A.Madhan Kumar of 2007 out gone student has participated in the International East Coast Cycling rally and won Second place with a cash prize of Rs.40,000/-.
V.P.Rajendran of III B.Sc -B has participated in National Parade at Delhi.
Conducted various workshops by bringing the eminent resource persons like Mr.P.M.Autin (IIM –B), Maxvalue Academy,Chennai.
Conducted one national conference and one Seminar.
Conducted various extension activities in the nearby schools and also donated a computer to one of the Govt. Schools.
