Commerce with computer application course offers a program of study to meet the significant increase in demand for computer scientists with an accounting backgroud. Providing both the technical Skills for computer science and the accounting and business skills of a commerce degree, the dual qualification enhances students knowledge of both the business and the IT Sectors, and gives them considerable flexibility in career choice.
This course educates students to design and build e - commerce and e - business systems, and to develop their understanding of current trends in this rapidly- evolving new technology. Students learn technologies for constructing enterprise solutions using cutting -edge technologies, and develop practical skills and experience in building enterprise solutions and using integrated enterprise development tools. Non-technical options allow students to explore a related area such as law, economics or management.

Conducted more than 13 guest Assistant Professors, 3 Seminars and 1 National level seminar in the label of ‘COMRADE’.

Ms.S.Sudha got 2nd rank in under graduate for the Academic year2005-2006, Ms.R.Suveetha got 10th rank in under graduate and Ms.S.Sudha got 5th Rank in Post Graduate for the academic year 2006-2008.

14 distinctions and 43 First classes during the year 2004-2008.
In Under –Graduate we got 25 distinctions and 146 First classes during the year 2002-2008.

Mr.S.Saravanan faculty of our department has published the article on “WATCH YOUR WACH” in Ezinearticles.com and “SENARIO OF INDIAN AGRICLUTURE” in Articles Base.com.
Mr.S.Saravanan, our faculty has been the placement officer for the past two years.
Mr.S.Namasivayam, our faculty got the best NSS Coordinator Award.
