About the Department

The B.Com (IT) a three year under graduate programme introduced in the year 2011. It provides the teaching in the area of commerce, accounting and computers information technology. It includes the various specialization papers in commerce and computer information technology subjects. It maintains a good industry –institution interaction. It highlights the concepts and skills for accountancy and computer information technology. The curriculum represents the course response to the evolving and dynamic finance and computer operating system.

Academic Progression: Students who have opted for B.Com (Information Technology) in their Undergraduate level have a wider scope to step into the following courses for their further studies like,M.Com,M.Com(CA)M.Com (IB),MBA,MCA,CA,ICWA

Career Progression: The IT industry gives abundant opportunities for job seekers as it provides employment to technical and non-technical graduates and has the capability to generate huge foreign exchange inflow into India
