To ensure Gender Equity in the college and bring social inclusion.
To create an atmosphere of equal opportunity through awareness programmes including seminars, invited talks etc.,
To eliminate the discrimination among students community.
To look into the grievances of the weaker section of society and suggest amicable solution to their problems.
To mobilize resources required for educational empowerment of the students from marginalized sections in coordination with government and other funding agencies.
To encourage and provide necessary guidance to the needy students to earn while they are learning through the part time jobs and the entrepreneurial projects to meet their expenses.

To redress any violations of gender-based rights and to work towards the empowerment of Students
To create a gender sensitive environment that respects gender diversity.
To ensure equal opportunity to women and men without any discrimination.
To enable students to be aware in areas like education, employment and health especially reproductive health and also suggest various ways to improve and empower themselves.
