The Student Development Council (SDC) stands as a representative body through which students at Dr. N.G.P. Arts and Science College can actively participate in shaping the college's environment and culture. It acts as a bridge between the student body, college administration and faculty, ensuring that the students are enhanced in all aspects of college life.

Objectives of SDC

The objectives of SDC at Dr. N.G.P. Arts and Science College include:

• Facilitating skill development and educational workshops, seminars, and guest lectures to enhance students' academic and professional competencies irrespective of any domain.
• Providing mentorship and support programs for new students to facilitate their integration into college life and promote a supportive campus community.
• Foster comprehensive student development by forging strategic collaborations with diverse clubs and organizations, ensuring holistic growth and enrichment across all facets of student life.
• Organizing cultural events, festivals, and celebrations to promote cultural diversity and foster a sense of belonging among students.
• Collaborating with college authorities to address student grievances, advocate for necessary reforms, and ensure a conducive learning environment for all students.
• Spearheading community outreach and social responsibility initiatives to install values of civic engagement and social responsibility among students.
