9 Student Reference The referrer must be a student of Dr. N.G.P. Arts and Science College or any of its group institutions. A concession of ₹5,000 will be granted to the referrer in the subsequent semester.
10 Sibling Student Concession Applicant must be the own brother or sister of a student. 25% concession on Tuition Fees every semester for the sibling of a current student.
11 NGP School Student Must be a student of NGP School. 25% concession on Tuition Fees every semester for students of NGP School.
12 UG Alumni Pursuing PG Studies Must be an alumni of Dr. N.G.P. Arts and Science College or any of its group institutions. ₹5,000 concession in each semester for alumni pursuing PG programmes.
13 Alumni Reference The referrer must be an alumni of Dr. N.G.P. Arts and Science College or any of its group institutions. ₹3,000 concession in the first semester for the referred candidate.
14 Meritorious UG Alumni Pursuing PG Studies Must be among the top three rank holders in the department during the undergraduate programme. ₹10,000 scholarship per semester for students who secured one of the top three ranks in their department during their UG programme.

Renewal Criteria:

  • Special Merit Scholarship (TNHSE): From the second year onwards, the scholarship will be renewed at the applicable rate only if the student secures an average of 80% or above in the previous two semesters.
  • Merit Scholarship (TNHSE & CBSE): From the second year onwards, the scholarship will be renewed at the applicable rate only if the student secures an average of 70% or above in the previous two semesters.
  • Sports Scholarship: Eligible candidates will be required to attend sports trials. The scholarship recipients will be selected based on their performance in the trials, as evaluated by the Department of Physical Education, Dr. N.G.P. Arts and Science College
  • Application Process: For all the above scholarships, a physical application form will be issued during the admission process after thorough verification of the supporting documents submitted by the candidate.
