The department of International Business was established in June 2003. It has renowned itself as a unique symbol of knowledge, talent and determination. To match with the fast changing socio economic environment, the department strives to bring out the latent talents of the students and mould them into competent professionals. The department is committed to develop professionals to succeed in a competitive corporate climate by providing concept-oriented subject knowledge backed with hands on practical training and also thrives to develop all round personality in the students by inculcating positive attitude, team spirit, leadership business ethics and innovation..

Programme Educational Objectives

The Curriculum is designed to attain the following learning goals which students shall accomplish by the time of their graduation:

  • To instill positive attitude and ethical values among the students to be successful in personal and professional career.
  • To equip students with current development in the field of International Business which cater the current needs of the industry.
  • To build a strong foundation of knowledge and skills in the area of commerce.
  • To enable students with an ability of problem solving and decision making.
  • To expose students in the area of export/import procedures.

Programme Outcomes

On the successful completion of the program, the following are the expected Outcomes.

  • P01: Impart the knowledge in the practical application of accounting.
  • P02: Employ the functions of supply chain in international business.
  • P03: Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with written and oral means.
  • P04: Demonstrate the skills in the field of logistics management and Port operations.
  • P05: Exhibit management functions to international business decision making.

Programme Educational Objectives

The Curriculum is designed to attain the following learning goals which students shall accomplish by the time of their post-graduation:

  • The course incorporates current developments in global marketing to acquaint students with the present-day challenges in global scenario
  • To equip the students with the essential traits needed to be a successful entrepreneur in global business
  • To train the business strategy needed to remain competitive in a global environment.
  • To Develop skills in strategic planning, dynamic decision-making, problem- solving, and technology management
  • The course prepares students for a professional career in operations, logistics and supply chain management to meet the challenges of a rapidly globalizing Industry.

Programme Outcomes

On the successful completion of the program, the following are the expected outcomes.

  • P01: Employ the concepts in FOREX operations and Decision Making
  • P02: Apply supply chain models in real time business process.
  • P03: Communicate effectively with written, oral and visual means.
  • P04: Ability to perform customs clearance operations and logistics activities.
  • P05: Exhibit international marketing abilities, plan financial operations , Predicting different business environment and identifying different service industries .
