In the present milieu, English language is inevitable in every sector; in accomplishing the prerequisites of language competency the department of English enables various viable practices. Besides, students have a flair for literature, to quench their thirst and simultaneously it helps them build their career in convergent avenues. The B.A. with CA was started in 2011 consequently M.A. in 2014. Furthermore, research programmes have been offered since 2016. The department makes room for students to hone their language skills and literature knowledge on par with national and international standard.
